For this reason, this damn 2010 comes to an end and I suppose that if one maintains a blog will have something to say. Lately I'm a bit vague, but it goes in spurts. The same with the bathrooms. In my case there has been a very successful fall, we'll see if I start the year with more good luck and I add up bathrooms. meantime, and to dismiss the year, not bad day, good company, sunny, no wind, nice weather, and waves but did not follow much, at least they gave barrigazos to be some regulars entertainment viewpoint. And if the waves with it, I ended up starting in 2011 as 2010, in the water. See you there health and good luck!
1. I dedicate a website (a blog in particular, in English) to the study of Cioran. Without wishing to compare it with what was his magnificent dissertation on the Romanian philosopher (Essay on Cioran , Espasa-Calpe, Madrid, 1992), what do you think of my impertinence blogger?
Fernando Savater: I think well, it serves to keep alive and controversial work of one of the thinkers really "different" from the past century.
2. For when, as suggested in Look where. reasoned Autobiography (Punto de Lectura, Madrid, 2004), published his correspondence with Cioran?
FS: I posted a couple of letters in the number of "L'Herne " dedicated to Cioran, who incidentally is terrific. The rest, for now, remain preserved ...
3. In his youth, Cioran "wanted to be somebody" and then not fail to insist that we are nothing (but loath to admit, as I said Josep Pla). And yet I think he also had his "involvement" literary ...
FS: No doubt. His passion for style, as he confessed, and I confessed more than once ... Nobody writes like him if he did not care to write well. He was also very aware of himself and quite likely ...
4. No intention to upset the interview: "The nightmare is the only way to lucidity "(Cioran)?
FS: I think the clarity is not terrible or blessed: The Nightmare is a way to take it, depends on the mood and perhaps the moment that everyone ...
5. If "all clarity is the result of a loss" (Cioran), is an exaggeration to say that the clarity of Cioran is the result of an unhappy youth sentimental (I remember that he refers to that episode [so nothing trivial] in some text) ?
FS: The big disappointment is Cioran religious, in my opinion. I wanted to be religious believers, even mystical ... but his intellectual honesty and sincerity sensual stopped him. Never recovered from that disappointment.
6. Cioran confessed that his two passions were reading and cycling. You talked about that passion once (which I also share with him) for cycling?
FS: once told me in his usual humorous tone, his experiences in that field. We had much fun being mentioned in a radio program about the pioneers of cycling in France. Moreover, I've been a huge fan of elite cycling (the Tour, Giro, etc..), but I never knew riding a bike, you see.
did not know him and I noticed the other day around there, you need to go a day long to make a fool, I do not know, it looks like be considerably harder than the water ...
The other day, while cleaning the paraphernalia of the table with a CD which was recorded on "Out of noise" Sakamoto Riuichi glad to give it another use (thankfully now day, flashes of musical pedantry not have to cost us 20 euros) I was running around the track This hackneyed.
The previous day, a colleague who has been surfing in this life, told me war stories of the eighties, including the sprints between gangs of surfers from two well known beaches in Asturias. Peaks often passed from words to deeds.
Viewed from a distance, the truth is that it seems incredible today, for a newcomer to imagine real battle each other to lie on the beach, car chases through the city until the stranger has left limits , ax in hand (true), and other niceties.
While there are still places and characters trying to maintain some aggression towards not local, it does seem clear is that at least the areas I frequent, things are infinitely more peaceful and one can move along the beaches on the basis of the conditions of the sea without danger of being head-throw affiliation much less what they put out of water.
Many of those who engaged in those years have left the surf, but many are still coming in, and his attitude is much quieter. Obviously riots hormones have long given way to a certain maturity, at least in most cases, and when you speak at the peak you are asked by the school children rather than threaten to take you out of the water to shock.
On the other hand, now are young perhaps have been spared because of the need to imitate attitudes at that time were a manifestation of the culture that the pioneers were imitating and implementing on our beaches. And they looked pretty calm. Either that or that, oddly enough, the gray still give some respect to youth.
What is clear is that for someone like me, come to the surf and the 40 completed, it is perfectly normal, go to a beach or another depending on the circumstances, was unthinkable in those days. The lack of prejudice is an advantage, some had to have.
However, things go even more quiet, it's funny how history weighs on the players of those years. One, now in knowing more people, some familiar faces and at the peak, which even has resumed relations years ago through the surf, he realizes that these invisible borders between some beaches are still there, at least in the heads some. Thinking about all this I realize that is impossible to see some faces on some beaches, whatever the conditions. I happen quickly a handful of cases I've ever seen in the water, and you do not see on the beach "rival."
And so when they ask if you've come today and tell them that yes, in that there was a Banaz beach, stare at you with a face poker. Now I realize why
Anyway sometimes a bath can feel like more than the weight of any competition before, and now I remember the time I met a day early start to one of these places in the territory Comanche, at seven o'clock in the peak alone. Or the time that I saw another face full bath "misplaced", but never get to the peak, but was content with that came a few feet away.
professor and writer Friedgard Thoma is the author of the work Um nichts in der Welt. Eine Liebe von Cioran (Weidle Verlag), translated and published in Italian as Per nulla al mondo. A di amore Cioran (l'Orecchio di Van Gogh). I contacted Thoma and has been kind enough to mention how about an excerpt from Goldberg Variations by JS Bach (excerpt rightly taken by Massimo Carloni, Italian editor of Um nichts in der Welt ... and video operator "A di amore Cioran) , such variations were important to their relationship with Cioran. Furthermore, in recognition of the music, Cioran spent the next aphorism to Friedgard Thoma:
"Nothing like music to create an indestructible complicity between two people. A passion is perishable, it breaks down like everything part of life, while the music is of a higher essence to life and, of course, death "(EM Cioran, 1982).
Friedgard I thank Thomas for the prompt and courteous responses by return e-mails I've sent. I am also indebted to José Ignacio Najera (Sharer and indispensable for my interest in Cioran) because he has translated from French, with due professional care, the aphorism above.
The rest is on video and is entirely merit of their creators.

GLENN GOULD INTERPRETING THE GOLDBERG VARIATIONS (BWV 988)
I've seen this here not think I can go, much less sign up, since the nose and I have not yet reached or shake hands from a distance ... but good little while you can be a day handsome.
Although I doubt it up, I put here a picture of a watch that was stolen this summer taking advantage of a mistake in a pool at a club known Gijon. I am not given to whims expensive, among other things because I am a hard worker broke, but a few years ago I noticed this quirk. It is a Victorinox watch Airboss Match 6. The curious thing about this watch is that since I have it I have not ever seen anyone else, and I'm fixing the clocks in people because I like them. That is why not go unnoticed if one day I meet him on the street. The complaint is on, but as I say, I have little hope of recovery.
A good early start to celebrate the birthday of the best possible way, with a bath of the most entertaining. That in the end there were two. Before entering test gave me a curious feature of my new phone, making panoramic photos by himself, tells you the frame and merging the six photographs. Obviously the result is very fine, and also to have waves that are used to move, because they are cut along the bottom, but no longer to be a mobile apañao.
One of the interesting experiences that you can live through the surf (some rather interesting use pretentious expressions on the sensory experience of communion with nature and the elements, or something, but I have nothing day for niceties at least today) is getting caught in the water a radical change of time. Especially when the change is worse, as I did in my last bath. A couple of hours before the photo illustrating this post, a server was starting to enjoy swimming more fun than a solitary peak (not exactly the place of the photograph). Although the day was cloudy and there was total calm, the sea as well as we like, ordered sets and small enough for me right that opened just enough so that every new wave that caught add some small new sense to my resume. It is what it is to insist on a table at the end you realize they carry much surf in a package as I can get them, and little to push it what you discover. Or what you are teaching them. So my partner in recent months, but in reality is with me from day one, will stay with me more than originally planned. Meanwhile, between series and could be seen not far from the small herbalist water caused by the first breeze, but still take enough time to finish closer to squeeze the bathroom. Until you receive, before anyone else, the first flashes of the breeze on your face, and you realize that this is not our northeast summer, the westerly with dark clouds has nothing to do with, no go further, the piece of sunny day we had only 24 hours earlier. Suddenly the water reflects the color of the sky dark and threatening, all grass everywhere, and that number is something that gets bigger (and more threatening) than the previous. Although the bathroom was not bad, winning is always more, and if all goes well, can you afford to catch a few waves, such as larger and rebotonas, but with renewed strength to finish squeezing the bath, Fortunately, began before the storm arrived, and not just when it is already on the beach, and think that board under his arm, just near the shore with twisted gesture (it was this that had seen from the viewpoint) just in time to witness (though they do not know if anyone was watching me) of what might be my first hint of a germ of "floater" with which di end a glorious bath. Without doubt the best of the summer, and just to say goodbye.

FRAGMENT OF AN INTERVIEW WITH FRANCIS BACON DIONISIO
In 2003, I was able to interview the city-writer and poet Dionisio Cañas realeno . Looking back today I come to realize that Cioran mentioned in a couple of answers:
- Tell us what your favorite philosophers and why. My philosophers, thinkers or rather, favorites are: Diogenes, Seneca, Origen, Baltasar Gracian, Nietzsche, Unamuno, Ortega, Sartre, Camus, Merleau-Ponty, Cioran and Eugenio Trias. Leo various philosophical trends for each of these authors provide a platform for me to think about my life and the world around me. I like the test in general, on any subject, so I would not talk about philosophers but of thinkers. But I sometimes find the deepest thoughts in poetry, in the novel, in conversation with people in a village bar. The important thing is to always be willing to learn from others, be careful. The availability of the mind and heart are two elements essential to stay young until I die: the availability of the mind helps us to be humble and learn from anyone, the availability of heart gives hope to fall in love beyond the physical forces beyond death itself.
- lived eight years in France and we encourage you to portray their activities there. Moreover, by the way of France, in his latest book of poetry, Heart dog [2002], has drawn attention to caption some of the poems with the phrase "walking with Cioran." Did you know Cioran personally? What about him? My family emigrated to France when I was 10. I was educated there and there lived the sixties with a great intensity. Cioran is one of my favorite thinkers, but not met him in my years in France. In my latest book of poems using some of his thoughts, phrases, for this reason I put it to "walking with Cioran." I work some poems recycling authors phrases that I like, because I know I can not say it better than them, for this reason I mention something to think that I'm not copying anybody, but what I'm doing is inviting the reader to read Cioran.

UTILITY DEATH
(WALK WITH CIOR)
All recipes distributed in the city of happiness, but all I remember is having once been a child, having had a fear healthy otherwise nonsense. Asco me what is not you, Life, because only what is rotting alive. You're with age as a townhouse in the suburbs of yourself, and to die is to live with so little desire as a rogue elephant, although sometimes our body can be very useful.

LIFE SUNDAY
(WALK WITH CIOR)
paragraphs I like the heart, rest is literature. For in the phrase of the time we are only a comma and stretching quietly going palabreo to avoid reaching the end point. I want to write in a savage tongue, in a language that my words drunk and confused with life, but I sold my past in the form of writing, a fatal drug to the innocent. I thought being young in the sun and I was ageless, and now Sundays are always looking for his life Monday.

ME A HEART ABSTRACT THREAT
(WALK WITH CIOR)
So when
took more blood alcohol and more
Spain,
dark me drunk
and made the night the black sun of all my
morning.
Now
vinegar blood makes me careful
funeral fruits and crops
sold around me without me lifting a
finger. Best
mourn over the ruins of kisses
to be sunk in my own heart.
